Documentaries, YouTube features, crowdfunding videos, and whatever comes next…

Documentary Feature

As part of our newsroom coverage for Ingram Micro, a major IT distributor, I traveled to Baroan Technologies in New Jersey to take an in depth look at how their business has evolved. Guy Baroan shared with me how his business is not only built on the trust his clients have with him, but on the relationships he has cultivated with other solution providers.

YouTube Feature

This feature video gives a snapshot into the current state of AI in the IT channel and how both vendors and solution providers can find success in taking these new opportunities to market. Without the right foundation from the solution provider community, AI adoption could fail to meet some of the big promises being made by vendors and not permeate the larger B2B market.

Crowdfunding Feature

The Castle has become a staple of Boston’s north shore community. They recently transitioned from being just a café to a complete restaurant built out to their specifications. To help facilitate this move, they ran a crowdfunding campaign where donations were not only matched, but doubled by a government program. This helped them raise a total of $60,000.

Documentary Feature

I created the StayInTakeOut video series during my employment at MP, an HR and payroll company. As part of a larger marketing campaign to assist with struggling restaurants during the pandemic, this video series gave an in depth look at the challenges and solutions these businesses faced. This video focused on Chef Dave Baker of Sweet Basil in Needham, MA, who showed how to be a leader in the middle of a major crisis.

Longform Interview

While I’m behind the scenes a lot of the time at my current job, I like to get in front of the camera when I can. These are some examples of more long form interviews that I’ve wrote, hosted, and produced.

As part of this process, we also cut out YouTube shorts and write articles around them to help diversify the publishing channels that our audience consumes content.

Non-Profit Documentary

These documentaries go back to my roots of why I got into filmmaking and video production in the first place. These human-centric stories about education and art are just small snapshots into what I think makes us human. Their stories and connections are ones I treasure to this day.
